Boat trip
/Fishing

Our partner West Sea Shipping can arrange a boat that can take you to and from Kilstraumen Brygge, or take a tour of the archipelago here in Austrheim. They can also take you on a fishing trip where the big fish is waiting.

Otherwise you can rent a boat at Kilstraumen and explore the coast and your fishing luck.

Varde-tangen

Vardetangen is the western most point on the mainland in Norway. The trip there is only 20-30 minutes and the hiking trail there is a 5 minute drive from Kilstraumen Brygge

If you cross the Kilstraumen bridge you will find a beauitful hiking trail that leads through both the outskirts and on the gravel road.

There is a round trip on Utkilen and it takes about 60 minutes.

Biking trip

Austrheim is a eldorado for bicycle rides. The landscape is relatively flat, open and great to ride in.

We would like to recommend a trip to our isles areas, where the archipelago landscape is at its most beautiful.

We could happily offer other suggestions, offer guided tours and bikes you can rent.

Kayaking

The archipelago in Austrheim is an eldorado for the kayak people. If you want guided kayak tours we could organize this through our partners.

In collaboration with Optimal Hudhelse (skin treatment), you can have a health-promoting visit only 5 minutes away from Kilstraumen Brygge.
